As one of the UK’s leading social enterprises, NEMI uses the power of business to create opportunity for refugees. Every order helps fund hospitality training, work experience and employment through our TRAMPOLINE Cafés in London, supporting people to build confidence, develop job-ready skills and enter the UK workforce.
To date over 65 people have graduated from our programme. Founded in 2015 by Pranav Chopra, NEMI began with freshly brewed Chai at London food markets and has grown into a King’s Award winning social enterprise tea company we are today.

As a certified Organic tea supplier, we choose ingredients and packaging with the planet in mind. Packaging is never an afterthought at NEMI. Every material is chosen against one question: what’s the most responsible option available to us that maintains the freshness and quality of our teas? Where the market allows, our range is compostable, recyclable, or reusable. Where trade-offs are unavoidable, we make them transparently and keep working to improve.
Our teabags made of a premium Polylactic Acid (PLA) mesh filter derived from 100% non-GMO sugarcane. In our retail packs, both loose leaf tea and teabags are packed in NatureFlex™, a film made from renewable wood pulp, suitable for industrial composting and certified to TÜV OK compost INDUSTRIAL and EN 13432 standards.

In 2025, TRIBE hotels across UK & Europe served 507kg of organic tea & generated 96 hours of refugee training through our TRAMPOLINE Cafés.
