Product Spotlight: Tea-chests

Our beautiful wooden tea chests are made from MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard), a material we’ve chosen for its sustainability as well as its classic, luxurious look and feel. 

MDF is constructed from wood chips and fibres bonded together with adhesives. This makes it stronger and more durable than other materials, whilst still having a natural wood grain appearance and being fully recyclable. 

Because MDF is made from wood that would normally be thrown away, it helps to reduce waste and means that harvested trees are used to create other more valuable products. By putting less strain on our forests, MDF production is a sustainable construction practice that will last in the years to come - and one we are proud to support.

Our eco-friendly, high quality tea chests are custom made by Custom Craft, who have over 20 years of experience in the industry. The chests are divided into 9 sections to perfectly fit our individual, compostable teabag envelopes and are perfect for a meeting room or event space.
