Advent Calendars for 2022
We love a tasty or pretty advent calendar, but in true NEMI spirit, it’s got to do good too - so here are our favourite ones to get this year!
Tony’s Chocolonely - £7.50
Why we love it: Tony’s mission is to make all chocolate 100% slave-free. In Ghana and the Ivory Coast, 1.56 million children work under illegal conditions and 30,000 people are victims of modern slavery. They deliberately choose to work in these countries to make a positive impact where the worst problems are. So with each window you contribute to Tony’s Chocolonely’s mission to make 100% slave free the norm in chocolate!
Advent of Change - £32.95
Why we love it: As the name suggests, each day comes with a new charity recipient and represents a 50p donation. It will tell you how your contribution could be used – from providing food and medicine for those in need, to protecting our oceans and endangered animals. They have a range of options but we especially loved this one as it can be enjoyed by the entire family!
THAT COUNTS - £96.00
Why we love it: One of the prettiest advent calendars we’ve seen but it’s not just a pretty face! This advent calendar is a great way to do good and support people & causes, as every gift supports a small or purpose-led business (including us!) You’ll find our teas behind one day of the That Counts 24 Days of Gifting Advent Calendar - we won’t spoil it…
They even have a Large Foodie Hamper if you’re looking for delicious hamper for your loved ones, or if you are looking for corporate gifts this year!
Love Cocoa - £25.00
Why we love it: In a year where frontline NHS staff have worked tirelessly in our fight against COVID-19, this advent calendar feels like a good purchase. 100% of profits from its sale will go to NHS Charities Together. And to top it off, it is carbon neutral and plastic-free!
Lush Advent Calendar - £185
Why we love it: Beauty advent calendars have become very popular in recent years, with this one topping our wish list as not only is it vegan and cruelty-free, but the packaging is made from recycled material and is reusable. PLUS, there are exclusive retro products that won’t be found anywhere else in the range this year!
