1. Tea is amazing at hydrating the body and topping up your fluid intake.

2) Tea has can also help reduce the probability of getting certain kinds of cancers and tumours.

3) Tea gives you wings.

4) Way easier and quicker than brewing a good cup of coffee.

5) There are lots of goodies in tea, way more than you’ll ever get in coffee.

While coffee can do the same, tea has the huge benefit of being pure water with the tasty tea flavour, meaning that when it’s a hot summers afternoon, it’s way better to drink some tea (hot or cold) as it will exchange any fluids you have lost through perspiration. It’s also great for your skin and getting it hydrated quicker.

As to the reason for this, the scientific evidence remains unclear, but for centuries it has been commonly believed that tea is linked to enhancing your health and reduce the chances of contracting any diseases.

It’s commonly believe that coffee has a significant amount of more caffeine that tea – however this is not true! Tea has very similar amount of caffeine and while both are stimulants, coffee actually has an opposite effect in reducing your vigour and performance levels. So in essence you get the same hit with tea and coffee but coffee is quick and sharp whereas the tea has a lasting effect with energy levels remaining high – so guess what, tea does give you wings!

It’s a bit naïve but yet worth recognising it – it is much more convenient to brew a cuppa! Placing a biodegradable teabag in a cup of hot water, letting it brew for 3-5minutes, and you’re done!

But again you could argue that instant coffee does exist to counter the above argument but given the current times where one wants nothing less than a barista coffee, it does again highlight that you can have a high-quality, loose-leaf tea at home and have instant satisfaction!

Antioxidants are great for keeping your body going and appearing incredible and is the main reason why loads of organisations have come on board and have started sticking antioxidants in all sorts of products. So hit your cupboards at home and grab some tea now – look fresh and feel great – can’t get any better!
