Tea-Based Cocktails!

With summer fast approaching, we’ve collated some of our favourite cocktail (and mocktail) recipes, made using our very own organic teas and chai syrup, that are perfect for the warmer weather. Don’t be afraid to get experimental with your creations and let us know what you think!

Each recipe makes one cocktail so multiply accordingly. 

25ml = 1 shot (UK)

G & Tea

Elevate your gin with our delicately flavoured Green Tea. 

  • 25ml freshly squeezed lemon

  • 25ml sugar syrup

  • 75ml chilled Green Tea

  • 50ml gin of your choosing

  • Drizzle of elderflower cordial

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice, and shake. Strain into a coupe glass & enjoy!

Summer Garden

This cocktail is instantly refreshing and very moreish. We recommend making a big jug of this to serve your guests on a summer evening!

  • 50ml gin or vodka (optional)

  • 50ml of Peppermint Tea, chilled

  • 12.5ml lemon juice

  • Tonic water

  • Mint leaves

  • Sliced cucumber

Add the mint leaves and vodka to a cocktail shaker. Muddle the mint leaves. Add ice, green tea, and lemon juice. Shake well. Strain over ice. Top off with tonic water and garnish with the cucumber slices.



Green Tea Margarita

This is a classic margarita recipe with added green tea to give it a more drinkable and  refreshing taste.

  • 37.5ml tequila of your choice

  • 25ml lime juice

  • 12.5ml triple sec

  • 12.5 sugar syrup

  • ½ cup Green Tea, at room temperature or chilled

  • Sea salt flakes (optional) and a lime wedge to garnish

Prepare your glass by squeezing your lime wedge around the rim before dipping it in a little sea salt sprinkled onto a saucer. Add all the ingredients (except garnish) to a shaker over ice. Shake well. Strain into a martini glass, dress with the lime wedge and voila!


Earl Grey MarTEAni

Have a go at infusing your own gin with this Earl Grey-flavoured drink. 

  • 50ml Earl Grey-infused London Dry Gin (Infused gin: 100ml/ a glass of dry gin and one Earl Grey tea bag)

  • 25ml lemon juice

  • 25ml sugar syrup

To make the Earl Grey-infused gin: Pour one cup of dry gin into a jug, add one tea bag, and steep for one hour. Then remove the tea bag.

For the cocktail, combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a glass of ice.

Pink Paloma

If you’re a fan of a more bitter cocktail, this one is perfect for tantalising your taste buds and is delicious without tequila too. 

  • 50ml Chamomile-infused tequila blanco (one glass/jar of tequila to one chamomile teabag, left to steep for an hour)

  • 50ml of freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice

  • Freshly squeezed lime

  • A spoonful of honey

  • Soda water

  • Garnish with grapefruit slices

Combine the chamomile-infused tequila, grapefruit juice, lime, and honey in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Pour over ice, and top off with soda water. 

Elderflower Iced Tea

Elderflower goes perfectly with chamomile to create a smooth, sweet summer drink. This one is lovely as a mocktail too. 

  • 75ml of Chamomile Tea, at room temperature or cooler

  • 37.5ml vodka

  • 25ml lemon juice

  • 25ml elderflower cordial

  • Garnish with lemon

Mix all ingredients in a shaker and shake for 30 seconds. Strain over ice. Garnish and serve right away.


Spicy Chai Old Fashioned

Classic and sophisticated, with a spicy twist! Use our syrup to enhance your typical Old Fashioned. 

  • 50ml whisky

  • 25ml Spicy Chai Syrup

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

  • An Orange wedge

  • Orange peel to garnish (optional)

Add the orange wedge, syrup and bitters in a cocktail shaker. Muddle the orange to release juice. Add the whisky and fill with ice. Stir well with a cocktail mixing spoon for about 30 seconds.

Add one large ice cube to a short glass. Strain the cocktail using a fine mesh strainer. Garnish with orange peel and a cinnamon stick or clove if you desire!

Chai Fizz 

This drink showcases our Chai Syrup, giving it the wow-factor, and is a great way to offer your guests something memorable. 

  • 50ml Hendricks Gin (or whatever you prefer) 

  • 25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice 

Combine all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake until suitably chilled. Strain shaker ingredients into a glass, rim a lemon peel along the edge and top with your favourite fizz. Try garnishing with a lemon twist!
